Coverage continues throughout the autumn with 37 matches from the first 12 rounds of Magners League fixtures scheduled to be televised by one or more of the broadcasters; there are also plans for a bumper batch of games over the festive Christmas and New Year period when fans can look forward to no less than 10 televised matches overall.
David Jordan, Director of Celtic Rugby said: “The popularity of the Magners League is growing year on year, as was demonstrated by the fact that average attendances at matches increased by 20% last season. Celtic Rugby is fortunate to have such quality broadcast partners as BBC Wales, S4C and Setanta Sports, and despite the distances between the participating teams fans can be assured of seeing more Magners League rugby than ever before.”
