Ulster to take on the Titans in the Grafton Challenge

Ulster will kick off their 2006-07 season next month with a weekend of rugby at Ravenhill when they take on Andre Bester’s Earth Titans in the inaugural Grafton Challenge.
Friday 25th August will see the senior squads clash, while an A side from both teams will meet on Saturday 26th.  The points scored by both team in each match will be tallied together and the club with the highest aggregate score will be crowned the Grafton Challenge Champions.

If supporters purchase a ticket in advance of Friday night’s fixture they can use it to gain FREE entry into Saturday’s match

Announcing his support for the new tournament, Grafton International Chairman James Kilbane commented, “We’re delighted to be associated with this new competition.  Working with Ulster Rugby we are confident that it can become a landmark in the rugby year and a valuable contribution to Ulster’s pre-season preparations.”

The Celtic League trophy will be on display and supporters at Saturday afternoon’s game will also have an opportunity to have their photographs taken with members of the Ulster Rugby Celtic League winning team between 12.30pm and 2pm.

Tickets for Friday’s match (kick off 7.30PM) are priced at £10 adults or £6 children for the stand and £7 adults or £5 children for the ground while tickets for Saturday’s match (Kick Off 1.00PM) are priced at £5 adults and £2 children anywhere in the ground.

Tickets will go on sale on Monday 7th August and will be available to purchase from www.ulsterrugby.com, from the Ravenhill counter, over the telephone between 10am – 12 noon Monday to Friday and from ticket outlets at SS Moores, Belfast, Athletics Stores, Belfast, Vi-Sports, Belfast, Eurosport Lisburn and Shoefair Sports, Banbridge.
