The Club Recognition Scheme was introduced by the Ulster Branch this year to acknowledge the work being carried out by Clubs to ensure that their structures and statutory requirements were being addressed.

The Scheme will be expanded next season to include a Silver Award Level and subsequently a Gold standard.

The recipients who received a Bronze Plaque and a cheque for £1000 from the Ulster Branch President, Ian Graham on Friday 12 May 2006 during half time of the Ulster v Borders game are:-

Ballymena

Ballynahinch

Banbridge

Bangor

Belfast High School Former Pupils

Carrick

Civil Service

CIYMS

Clogher Valley

Instonians

Londonderry YMCA

Portadown

Congratulations to all of the recipients for the hard work, which they voluntarily carry out on behalf of rugby.

We hope to see these Clubs progress to the Silver and Gold standards and many more Clubs participating in the Scheme.
