The following Clubs have been successfdul in their applications for the Bronze Club Recognition Award

Londonderry YM
Portadown

The clubs have been invited to attend the Ulster v The Borders Celtic League match on Friday 14th May 2006 at Ravenhill where they will be presented with their Bronze Plaques and a cheque on the pitch at half time.

The Bronze Award will be the first step on the Club Recognition Award with Silver and Gold Awards to follow. To obtain the Bronze Awards the above clubs have had to demonstrate that they have:

Reviewed their current committee structures within the last 5 years.

Have a Child Protection Policy statement in place and ratified by their committee.

Have an Equity statement in place and ratified by their committee.

Congratulations to these clubs and we hope that they will be the first of many to achieve the Bronze award and that they will progress on to gaining the Silver and Gold Awards.

Those Clubs which were unsuccessful in their applications and new applicants will have another opportunity to apply in the near future.
