Ulster Women’s Seek Team Manager…….

The Ulster Women’s Committee invite applicants for the post of Senior Team Manager for the season 2006/2007.  The post is required immediately as training of the senior squad is in the process of starting. 

Job Description

Responsibilities
To organise the activities of the Ulster senior squad with regard to training and match day preparations.
To communicate with the players re venues and times of training sessions and match day arrangements, including transport.
To liaise closely with the provincial coach on all the above matters.
To attend training sessions and matches.
To keep an attendance record and contact details of squad members.
To act as the focal point of call for squad members and representatives of the IRFU and IWRFU
To comply with and uphold the IRFU code of ethics.
To sign up to a squad members contract.

Match day responsibilities. (Arrange or delegate)

Venues and times
Referees
Transport
Physiotherapist
Ambulance
Doctor
Kit (laundry/ balls/ water bottles)

Desirable Qualities

Good communication skills
Leadership and delegation skills
Organisation and planning skills

Rewards

Contribute to and influence the progression of the provincial squad
Practice and refinement of managerial skills.

The term of the appointment will be one rugby season and will be reviewed.

The manager will be accountable to the officers of the executive committee.

The position is voluntary.

Some contribution will be made towards expenses.

Ulster squad kit will be provided.
