Andrew Trimble, winning his second cap for Ireland, scores two tries in their 43 - 12 victory over Romania
Ulster's Andrew Trimble, Neil Best and David Humphreys who captained the Irish team all got on the score-sheet during the final Autumn International of the series at Lansdowne Road against a Romanian side packed full of players playing top flight rugby in France.

A brace of tries for Trimble on only his second appearance for Ireland, a touch-down for Neil Best, making his first international start and a tally of 13 points from the boot of David Humphreys (five pens and a conversion) added to tries for Johnny O'Connor, Georgan Murphy and Girvan Dempsey made up the Irish total.

Ireland didn't concede a try thoughout the match, Romania's points coming from four penalties courtsey of scrum-half Mitu.

Ireland: 15 - Geordan Murphy; 14 - Shane Horgan, 13 - Andrew Trimble, 12 - Gordon D'Arcy, 11 - Tommy Bowe; 10 - David Humphreys, (Capt) 9 - Kieran Campbell; 1 - Marcus Horan, 2 - Shane Byrne, 3 - Simon Best, 4 - Donnacha O'Callaghan, 5 - Leo Cullen, 6 - Neil Best, 7 - Johnny O'Connor, 8 - Denis Leamy.
Replacements: J Flannery, J Hayes, M O'Driscoll, S Easterby, P Stringer, R O'Gara, G Dempsey.
