Travelling to Biarritz for the Heineken Cup

We've compiled some helpful information for those intending to travel to France for Ulster's Heineken Cup fixture against Biarritz on 28/29/30 October 2005.
Flying to Biarritz

Biarritz in the south west of France has an airport that is served by Ryanair and Air France. Bordeaux airport is 180 km away whilst Pau (also served by Ryanair from London Stanstead) is 110kms away.

Ryanair

Flights are available direct from Dublin. Please note this is not a daily service.
Ryanair also operate a direct service from London Stanstead to Biarritz and Pau

Easyjet and Air France

Air France have internal flights that operate twice daily from Charles de Gaulle and five times daily from Paris Orly to Biarritz. For those flying into Charles de Gaulle it is possible to get a bus that connects the two airports.
Easyjet now fly directly to Paris Charles de Gaulle from Belfast - visit www.easyjet.com
Internal flights within France can be booked at www.airfrance.co.uk or by calling 0870 142 4343.

Easyjet also fly from Gatwick to Toulouse. Belfast to Gatwick is served by Flybe and Easyjet. Please note that trains from Toulouse to Biarritz go via the more northerly city of Bordeaux and will take up to six hours so you would be better to hire a car!

Internal train information for France can be found on www.sncf.fr and click onto the language flag on the bottom left hand side of the screen. Pau to Biarritz by train journey time is approximately two hours.

Flying to Bordeaux

Flybe operate flights to Bordeaux from Bristol and Birmingham, both of which are served from Belfast City Airport.

Ulster Rugby are in the process of sourcing hotel accommodation rates for supporters. Details to follow.
