Celtic Cup Quarter-Final
18 April 2005, 9:31 am
By Lyndsey Irwin
Ulster will travel to Wales to take on The Ospreys in the quarter-final of the Celtic Cup on 29/30th April or 1st May...
Ulster's 16 - 3 defeat of the Llanelli Scarlets at Ravenhill on Friday night saw them clinch their place in the quarter-final of the Celtic Cup.

As 8th place qualifiers Ulster have a tough trip to Wales to take on league winners The Ospreys, however, Mark McCall's men will fancy themselves in with a chance as the last time the played the Ospreys away, back in January they narrowly lost the match by just one point.

The Celtic League hope to confirm the date and kick off time of this fixture today or tomorrow. Tickets will be available directly from The Ospreys, watch this space for contact details.

The Celtic League have already made the draw for the semi-final stage of the Cup competition, confirming that the winner of Ospreys v Ulster will have an away semi-final on weekend on 6/7/8th May against the winners The Dragons v Llanelli Scarlets.

Please note that Ulster will not have a home semi-final as previously thought.
