| Ulster Rugby Chief Executive Michael Reid is heading up the team of 9 people who will aim to lose as many pounds as possible while raising money to help the victims of the earthquake and tsunami in South East Asia.
The team of 9 includes Ulster Branch Domestic Rugby Manager David Boyd, the Senior and Junior Vice Presidents of the Ulster Branch, Ian Graham and Stan Huey, the Ballynahinch and Malone RFC Presidents John Dickson and Raymond Thomas, Kukri Sportswear’s Terry Jackson, John Robinson the Honorary Treasurer of the Ulster Branch and Dr Laurence Rocke, Ulster Branch Doctor.
All participants were officially “weighed in” on Saturday 1st January by Ulster Rugby Team Doctor, David Irwin, and will have 8 weeks of slimming and fund-raising before they are weighed again on the 26th of February.
