The Ireland team to play Scotland shows one change from the side that beat Italy last weekend. Johnny O’Connor is named in the back row to win his third cap in place of Denis Leamy.  Both Captain Brian O’Driscoll and his centre partner Gordon D’Arcy are also named in the team following injury scares for both players. 

Ireland second row Malcolm O’Kelly will earn his 70th cap and in doing so will become the most capped Irish player of all time, surpassing the old record of 69 set be Mike Gibson.  His partner in the second row, Paul O’Connell will also be reaching the landmark of 25 international caps.

Ulster's David Humphreys is again named on the replacements panel.
