Neil Doak returns to scrum-half and Paddy Wallace will start at centre with Shane Stewart ruled out following a heavy tackle last Friday night which saw him leave the pitch early.
In a rotational change, Matt Sexton returns to the starting line-up and Paul Shields to the bench having started in the past three games and Gary Longwell is named in the second row, having been released from Irish duties.
Bryan Young gets a berth on the bench with Simon Best unavailable due to Ireland committments. Young gun Andrew Maxwell has also been named on the bench while Sheldon Coulter, released by Ulster at the end of last season, has had to step back into the squad as back-line cover due to injuries to centres Jonny Bell and Seamus Mallon and the enforced retirement of Ryan Constable.
